These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the logistics and transportation services provided by Wide Turn Logistics (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to abide by these terms. Please read them carefully before engaging in any of our services.

Services Agreement

We offer a variety of logistics and transportation services to meet the unique needs of our customers. These services include dry van loads, full truckloads, less than truckloads, dedicated contract carriage sea freight, pickup and delivery (air freight), and liftgate service. Whether you’re shipping large quantities of goods or need specialized transportation solutions, we provide the flexibility and reliability to handle a variety of freight needs.

By requesting our services, you are entering into an agreement with] us. We reserve the right to refuse service if the terms are not met or if we are unable to fulfill the requested service due to unforeseen circumstances.

Booking and Payment

To begin using our services, customers must provide accurate and detailed information regarding the shipment. This includes specifying the type of service required, providing cargo details, and confirming pickup and delivery locations. It is essential that this information is accurate, as it directly affects the cost and timing of the service. Payment for services must be made in full before the delivery is completed unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, bank transfers, and other secure payment methods. Any late payments will be subject to additional fees and may result in a suspension of services until the payment is received in full.

Cargo and Packaging

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their cargo is properly packaged, secured, and labeled. Wide Turn Logistics is not liable for any damage caused by improper packaging. It is essential that all items are packed in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage during transit. For Full Truck Loads (FTL), it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are secured properly to prevent any shifting or damage during transport. For Liftgate Service, customers must confirm that the cargo is suitable for liftgate handling. If the cargo is not suitable or if additional assistance is required, additional charges may apply.

Insurance

While we take every precaution for the safe delivery of your goods, we strongly recommend that customers secure their own insurance coverage to protect against potential loss or damage during transit. We are not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of goods unless it is directly caused by our negligence. Our liability is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the goods or the maximum liability covered by our insurance policy.

 

Delivery and Transit Time

While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, delays can sometimes occur due to factors beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, traffic, or unforeseen events. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. If any delays occur, we will make every effort to keep you informed and minimize the impact. Customers must be present at the designated pickup and delivery locations at the agreed-upon times. If the customer is not available, additional fees may apply, and the delivery may be rescheduled. In the case of international shipments, customs procedures may also cause delays.

Changes to Services

Customers may request modifications to their service bookings, such as changing the delivery address, pickup times, or cargo details. These changes must be communicated to Wide Turn Logistics at least () hours before the scheduled service. If changes are made after this time, additional charges may apply, or the request may not be feasible. Cancellations made at least [insert number] hours before the scheduled pickup time will not incur any fees, but cancellations made after this period may result in a cancellation fee.

Limitations of Liability

This includes, but is not limited to, improper packaging, inaccurate or incomplete shipment details, or failure to comply with relevant laws and regulations governing the shipment.

Compliance with Laws

Both Wide Turn Logistics and the customer agree to comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing the transportation of goods. This includes following all customs regulations for international shipments, ensuring that the goods are legally transportable, and complying with safety and environmental laws. The customer is responsible for ensuring that their goods comply with all necessary legal requirements, including proper documentation and permits.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their shipment. This includes ensuring that the cargo is properly packaged, labeled, and described. The customer must also ensure that the pickup and delivery locations are accessible and free from hazards. If a location is not accessible, additional charges may apply for redelivery or rescheduling.

Prohibited Items

We will not accept any items that are classified as hazardous, perishable (unless specifically agreed upon), live animals, or illegal goods. We also do not accept shipments of items that exceed weight or size limits, as determined by our company policy. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the cargo complies with these restrictions. If prohibited items are found in the shipment, we reserve the right to refuse service or return the cargo at the customer’s expense.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate this service agreement at any time if the customer fails to comply with the terms outlined in this agreement. Termination may also occur if circumstances make it impossible to complete the requested services. In such cases, the customer will be notified promptly, and any payments made for services not yet rendered will be refunded, minus any cancellation fees or charges for services already provided.

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Any personal information provided by the customer will only be used to fulfill the requested service. We will not share personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to complete the service. We adhere to all applicable data protection regulations to safeguard the privacy of our customers.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, both parties agree to make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue amicably through negotiation or mediation. If an agreement cannot be reached through these methods, the dispute will be resolved in accordance with the laws of ().
